A long time entrepreneur, Patrick has been involved with early-stage technology development and starting websites and companies for more than twelve years. Upon graduation from Hunan University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in computer and communications, he started a website focusing on Internet guides, which ranked one of the top 30 websites of 1999 in China.
Patrick then joined Chinadotcom Corp. (now renamed as CDC Corp.) in 2000. Patrick was deeply involved in product strategy, direction and vision as the company grew. He also held senior operational roles in business development, system development and content management. Patrick was the Chief Executive Director and Vice President of China.com before he moved to Canada in 2001.
Since then, Patrick worked on and managed various projects in different companies. He was involved in projects such as Tax reporting systems, Microsoft Dynamics ERP/e-commerce systems, web content management systems, etc. Patrick also pursued his MBA degree at University of Toronto in 2007.
Patrick is currently with Deloitte Canada, leading a major Microsoft .Net project at the firm. He also conducted analysis such as Enterprise Social Media, Enterprise SAAS solution, etc.
